DAVID MONTOYA’S Modern Soul Radio is a mixshow geared for people who love nothing but the best in Afro,Deep, and Soulful House. Featuring the latest music by some of the sickest Producers & Remixers worldwide. Expect Soulful Vocals, Percussion, Jazzy Chords, and Fat Basslines. The Los Angeles DJ David Montoya has gained notoriety as one of LA’s top AfroHouse Producers. Featured in many labels such as Tribe Records, Deep Culture Music, Uncover Music, NULU Electronic & NULU Music, United Music, Vida Records, D.M. Recordings, MoBlack Records, Sole Channel Music, Tru Thoughts, and many more But who is he? Raised in the suburbs of Los Angeles. In the beginning of his musical journey he developed a taste for a wide array of musical styles in the 80’s & 90’s, such as early Hip Hop, Hi Energy Disco, Funk, Nu Wave and Latin Music. In 1991 he bought his first DJ set up and began mixing House Music. As time went on, David honed his skills in the production studio as well as on the DJ decks and has steadily built a name for himself worldwide. He has played Internationally from LA, New York, Las Vegas, Boston, Toronto Canada, Playa Del Carmen Mex to Amsterdam. David also hosts a podcast called Modern Soul Radio, a mixshow that has lit an unforgettable fire in the hearts and minds of Househeads worldwide.
